Dermatology of West China Hospital is the skin care training branch of China Medical Association dermatologist, and the first National Drug Dermatology Clinical Research professional base. Laboratory has Office, Technology department and Testing department. Area of existing business premises 350m2 now, and the laboratory has 20 employees, including 2 professors, 5 associate professors, 7 indications, and 6 residents; There are 5 PhDs, and 11 Masters. Since 2002, the laboratory has invested nearly 400 millions, and has imported advanced equipments from Germany and Japan, for skin color, moisture content, water loss, fat content, pH, elasticity, texture, wrinkles, sun protection effects, skin scales and the direction of functional muscle testing, and it can meet the main effects of cosmetics evaluation. The laboratory carries out screening tests of allergen and allergy related clinical trials generally, and carry out a large number of cosmetic dermatology and cosmetic safety assessment of patch test, patch test spot. Now has been completed advanced professional equipment and high levels of human safety and efficacy of cosmetic testing laboratories.
Cosmetic inspection agency certified by the Ministry of Health
West China Hospital got "Ministry of Health, human safety and efficacy of cosmetic inspection agency" found again in July 2008. Assuming human safety of cosmetics and sunscreen efficacy testing project, for applying to the Ministry of Health, Health Administration permits the import of cosmetics and domestic special purpose cosmetics survey report, and as a license issued by the objective basis for health administration.
